Ursa Space Systems Selected to Join AWS ISV Accelerate Program


 

ITHACA, NEW YORK - JANUARY 31, 2022 - Ursa Space Systems, a global satellite intelligence infrastructure provider, has announced today that it has been accepted into the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate Program, a co-sell program for AWS Partner Network (APN) Partners who provide software solutions that run on or integrate with AWS. The program helps Partners drive new business and accelerate sales cycles by connecting the participating ISVs with the AWS Sales organization.

Billie joins the Ursa Space team after a 10 year stint at Hunter Communications, a company which provides satellite solutions for government, energy, broadcast, maritime and aeronautical sectors. Her primary focus here was the Government sector.

ITHACA, N.Y. - JANUARY 12, 2022 - Global satellite intelligence infrastructure provider, Ursa Space Systems Inc., is collaborating with AWS Data Exchange (ADX) to make satellite data and insights easy to find, subscribe to, and share with partners in the cloud.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers and partners will have access to satellite intelligence at scale, thanks to this collaboration, which commenced in 2021. Ursa Space will list its image services catalog and data analytic services on AWS Data Exchange.

How do we do it? 

We collect radar satellite imagery of floating-top storage tanks and apply proprietary algorithms to measure volumes. This is the only method we use. We do not estimate inventories based on crude oil flows.
